need your advice on SQL performance

Hi all,
I just restored on edatabase on the new server (windows 2003 R2). The
performance is very slow. I checked the event log and it shows"
Bypassing recovery for database 'Marketing' because it is marked IN LOAD".
Could this cause the slowness and what does this mean and how to fix it?
Thanks.John
Did you perform RESTORE operation with WITH RECOVERY option?
