NetBackup without an agent

We're going to be using Veritas NetBackup to back up or SQL 2005 database
servers, but we're not going to have an agent. The Operations people are
asking for an exclude list of directories. Obviously, the data directory
would have to be excluded, but are there any other directories that should be
excluded from the backup?
